He is being held in "administrative detention" - a procedure under which Israel is able to imprison Palestinian suspects without trial indefinitely.
Israel has said the member of the Islamic Jihad is a security threat.
Qadoura Fares, chairman of the Palestinian Prisoners Club, said that a "deal has been reached" for Mr Adnan to end his hunger strike and that Israel would then release him on 12 July, according to Reuters.
Israel's Haaretz newspaper also reported that the Israeli authorities had agreed to free Mr Adnan, who is currently in hospital.
Mr Adnan has been arrested a number of times by Israel - the last time this happened was in July 2014.
Under "administrative detention" Israel can hold Palestinian suspects indefinitely for renewable six-month periods.

In the 62 years since it was first conquered, more than 3,000 people have made it to the summit of Mount Everest, the highest point on Earth.
To start a series of special reports from Everest's base camp, BBC News spoke to three of those people about how they felt on their first experience at the top of the world.

Routine tests to check the definitive identity of bugs can take days - they often involve taking a sample and then trying to grow the organism in a lab.
Tests of particles in the blood can also help give clues, but some are raised in both bacterial and viral infections and in cancer and trauma too.
As a result sometimes antibiotics - which only work on bacteria - are overused.
And in contrast some patients who need antibiotics don't get them soon enoughreenex.
The team of scientists from several medical centres in Israel, in collaboration with the company MeMed, developed the new test.
Analyzing blood samples of more than 300 patients who were suspected of having an infection, they found it could correctly detect a virus or a bacterial infection in the majority of cases.
Eran Eden, of MeMed said: "The test is accurate. For most patients you can tell whether the infection was caused by bacteria or a virus within two hours.
"It is not perfect and it does not replace a physician's judgement, but it is better than many of the routine tests used in practice todayreneex."

The BBC's Rana Jawad, in the capital, Tripoli, says that in the immediate aftermath of the revolution that ousted Gaddafi, many rebel fighters left to fight with militant groups opposing the rule of President Bashar al-Assad in Syria.
Many of the fighters are believed to have returned home, settling in the east of the country, she says.

Beheadings are rare in Libya, our correspondent says, even in areas controlled by militant Islamists, and no group has so far said it carried out the latest killings
The activists have been named as Siraj Ghatish, Mohamed Battu and Mohamed al-Mesmari.
Our correspondent says they remained low-profile, mostly passing on information via social media pages.
Another activist in the city who cannot be named for reasons of safety, said: "We reject IS being here. We can't come out in public about it."

The US led sanctions against Russia this year over its actions in Ukraine.mandger的心ç†åšå®¢

Reset 'likely'
In June 2010, US President Barack Obama cemented the original "reset" at a summit when the then Russian President, Dmitry Medvedev, visited the White House.
That initiative came after years of poor relations, notably after Russia's summer war with Georgia, an aspiring Nato member, in 2008, when George W Bush was president.
"Now there's a need for what the Americans might call a 'reset'," Mr Lavrov told Russia's Channel Five (in Russian).
"The current US administration is today wrecking much of the co-operation structures that it created itself along with us. Most likely, something more will come up - a reset No 2 or a reset 2.0.huserçš„åšå®¢"
Mr Lavrov said the situation was improving on the ground in Ukraine, where a shaky ceasefire has been in place for several weeks.
Nato reported this week that there had been a significant withdrawal of Russian conventional troops from inside eastern Ukraine, although many thousands remained just over the border.

It's hardly surprising that some classes, in some schools, never get there, and are told by teachers to finish the book in their spare time.flower2

We trust the government, we believe our tax money will be spent wiselyâ€
Prof Alexander Cappelen Norway School of Economics香港如新
The fund, worth about $800bn (£483bn), owns 1% of the entire world's stocks, and is big enough to make every citizen a millionaire in the country's currency, the kroner. In effect, it is a giant savings account.
And most Norwegians are seemingly very content with this - according to a 2012 study by New York's Columbia University Norway is one of the world's happiest countries.
"We had to invest a lot of money before we could spend anything," says Prof Alexander Cappelen, from the Norway School of Economics, explaining why the country has apparently avoided the pitfalls of vast wealth.
"In other countries the oil is much easier to extract, so they got the money straight away.
"We were put in the right mindset by knowing it was a long-term plan."
Trusting the government
So, no spending bonanza for Norway. In fact there is a closely followed guideline that only 4% of the surplus from the fund is spent or invested in public projects.香港如新

But it says new recommendations for management of the HBP and the balance between its core and partner projects (both contentious issues) are expected in September.zhangmered
Critics cautiously welcomed the reply.
Under the heading "no single roadmap for understanding the human brain", Robert Madelin (the relevant director-general within the EC) responded directly to last week's open letter. kmenur'blog
"As a public funding agency, we take all such signals seriously," he wrote. "We welcome debate."
Cautious optimism
Responding to the concern that the HBP concentrates too exclusively on simulations of the brain, Mr Madelin stated, "The exact scope of the project is a matter for the project itself."
He also addressed the sidelining of cognitive neuroscientists, who study the brain from a more "top-down", function-based perspective than the "bottom-up" cell and network modelling that is at the heart of the HBP.
This type of work was recently "repositioned" outside the core of the project.kiiwsily123
As part of a review of the project's Framework Partnership Agreement, a necessary hurdle to unlock funding from within Horizon 2020, the EC statement suggested there will be recommendations on "the balance between the core project and a number of partnering projects" - presumably including cognitive work.
That review, due in September, should also address "the governance of the overall initiative" and is being conducted "by high-level and independent experts", wrote Mr Madelin lomeng'blog.
The project's critics had demanded a review by top neuroscientists who are not associated with the HBP.
Dr Zachary Mainen, one of the principal organisers of the protest letter, told the BBC he was "cautiously optimistic", while noting a lack of specific commitments in the EC's response. kiiwsily

"I really hope to see a turnaround where we begin to see a decrease in cases in the next several weeks."
BBC West Africa correspondent Thomas Fessy says educating people rather than closing borders is seen as the most effective way to contain the outbreak.
Cultural practices and traditional beliefs in some areas have hampered public health measures, contributing to the spread of the disease, he adds.
In some cases, mobs have attacked health workers forcing emergency centres to close.
The WHO has already sent more than 150 experts into West Africa over the past few months to try to contain the outbreak.
But it says political commitment is needed from the region itself to ensure this outbreak is stopped soon.
Most of the deaths have been centred in the southern Guekedou region of Guinea, where the outbreak was first reported in February.
But health officials say the region's porous borders have allowed infected people to carry the disease into other countries.
Ebola spreads through contact with an infected person's bodily fluids and there is no vaccine or cure. It kills up to 90% of those infected.

However, if the animal gets into the country there are significant loopholes. Elephants don't have to be registered until they are eight years old, creating an opportunity for these smuggled calves to be "laundered" into the domestic population.
"Elephant populations are being depleted all over South East Asia," said Dr Shepherd.
"By logging, being poached for their ivory and captured for trade - if you add up all these pressures, any off-take at all has a conservation impact."
Political turmoil in Thailand over the past two years hasn't helped the drive to strengthen the laws in the country.
Thailand made significant efforts to ban a legal trade in ivory ahead of a meeting of the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species (Cites) last year.
There are worries that while laws exist on the statute books, they are not always enforced.

"They clamped down and seized elephants but no-one was prosecuted," said Joanna Cary-Elwes from the charity Elephant Family.
"Their heart is in the right place but there's absolutely no deterrent to criminals - it is low risk and very high profit."
She believes that tourists need greater awareness of the smuggling situation, especially at trekking facilities.
"This is a UK-relevant issue - we have a million people flocking to Thailand every year. Most don't realise when they are posing next to a cute baby elephant what that animal has had to endure to be in a camp."
The campaigners are hoping that a meeting of Cites in Switzerland next week will increase pressure on both Thailand and Myanmar to act.

Sixty-six cases of polio have been declared in Pakistan since January, compared with only eight during the same period last year. ã„ã˜ã“ã†
And more than 60 polio workers and security personnel were killed between December 2012 and April 2014, most of them in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province, according to Pakistani officials and humanitarian workers.
The geographical spread of the cases suggests they are mostly sourced to the north-western Waziristan tribal region, the BBC's Ilyas Khan reports from Islamabad. Militants controlling the region banned vaccination there, saying health workers may include American spies. ゆã„ãŠã£ã†ã‡

We used to say: life while knowledge is long, life is short. So often people want me to open a book, hoping to read more useful books in the limited time. But I always think, reading really useful useless I can't help others answer. From my own experience, at first it seems useless books, sometimes it will be useful, this is more than you previously thought useful set range.
Or my life up to now, have the most clever idea, just from the reading before I didn't think it would bring me such a useful book.
We hope to do every thing, through every one should be useful, so no longer retention time for a walk, and not willing to sit under the window staring blankly, in other words, we don't spare the, actually so much less chance of inspiration. When we lose the opportunities, people are less likely to have big change, it is difficult to pick out the original pattern.
Why is that? You see "with" what meaning be? It is that you have envisioned all purpose. When you have done, all is in order to meet the target, you can't find in the target range, what is the possibility of a broader. So reading useless books, do some useless things, take some useless time, is for the outside all known, keep a beyond their own opportunities. Some great changes in life, it is from this moment.
